It grows to 6 feet tall, and with slightly nodding branches. The unusual rosy pink flowers with equally interesting flower bracts are borne on branch tips in late summer and into the fall and winter. Roseleaf sage is an excellent cut flower.
In mild climates this plant is evergreen - even in our garden the plant looks beautiful until late fall. It performs best in afternoon shade, with good drainage and average garden water. It is lovely planted with Sambucus 'Madonna' and Euphorbia x martinii.
